Geometric Drilling started drilling in 2004 with the G55, and increased both fleet and rig capacity in 2006 and 2008 with the addition of two HH102 rigs. The rigs are crewed around the clock by experienced full time staff, with each driller and supervisor fully trained and certified in well control. The company and crews have gained a wealth of experienced in drilling numerous wells in Scotland, England and Wales, and have cut over 10,000 feet of wire-line retrieved core; enjoying a recovery rate greater than 98.6%.
The crews have been recruited from around the UK, and are well versed in the requirement to be 'good neighbours' and strive for the ideal of going un-noticed about their business. As such Geometric like to be very much part of the planning process, to help gain consent and to ensure we are always invited back.
