About Us

Founded in 2004, originally as part of Composite Energy Ltd, Geometric Cofor has grown the fleet to a complement of three drilling rigs and has developed the required HSE and logistical processes to run these safely and efficiently. Delivery of the first HH102 was in 2006 with the second in 2008. To date, the company has drilled in excess of 20 coring appraisal and directional development wells.

The opportunity to develop the Geometric business was recognised and the Group Shareholders are committed to the continued growth of Geometric.

The vision now is to offer a one stop drilling contracting and well services product to European onshore operations in the following sectors:

Conventional oil and gas
Unconventional resources (shale and CBM)
Gas storage
Geothermal
Water wells

Geometric has recently successfully drilled wells for customers outside of the Composite Group in England and Scotland, and has cut over 10,000 feet of wire-line retrieved core; enjoying a recovery rate greater than 98.6%.

In addition to the provision of safe, efficient and cost-effective wellbore services throughout the European onshore market, we also understand that onshore operations take place in environmentally sensitive and inhabited areas. As such we know the value of being good neighbours and we are committed to working courteously in those communities to build, strengthen and protect our customer's reputation and long term relations.

Geometric currently has a staff of 62, a rig fleet of three environmentally friendly Italian Drillmec rigs; two HH102 and one G55 series.

Geometric are in the business of supporting the development of asset value, and has a well developed HSE, logistics, manufacturing and fabrication services network, with the ability to deliver to the demands of our customers.
